BY LAURA COHEN, Editor-in-chief
She is sexy, openly bisexual and confident in her role as a wife, lover and mother. It is Friday afternoon and she is preparing sabbath dinner as she does every Friday. Her family are Messianic Jews and the sabbath is their sacred family time. Alysyn Bourque is more than just the lady of the house. She is Chief Executive Officer of Net City Media Group, a company she started after years in the online broadcasting and publication business. She is also head of the Communications Command Center at her husband’s private intelligence agency, Griffith Colson Intelligence Service, or GCIS. Her husband, W. Edward Griffith is director of GCIS and the 45-year old private spy chief relies on his wife as his closest adviser. Griffith has been quoted as saying; “I can not imagine life without her”.
For Bourque’s part, she has weathered a series of attacks on both her and her husband. She guards her family like a lioness guarding her cubs, and she is highly protective of her husband.

SpyChix had the chance to chat with Bourque in a rare interview. For a woman who controls her own media company, she is less trusting of outside media sources these days. She agreed to talk to SpyChix Magazine and here is what she had to say:
Q: In October, you returned to your old job as deputy director of communications at Griffith Colson Intelligence Service. What prompted you to return to the private intelligence business?
A: The safety of our children. It’s that simple.
So much of what we’re having to fight is political, and if there’s anything I can do to help counteract the politically-correct infospeak that is being tossed about, I will.
It reminds me of the Babylon 5 episode, “The Deconstruction of Falling Stars”, with the Orwellian government differentiating between “good facts” - the government-approved perception of events - and “real facts” - the historically accurate version. It’s scary that simple, verifiable truth has, any more, become a victim of political spin. What’s shameful is that we, as citizens, too often are too lazy to differentiate between the two.

Q: You are also Chief Executive Officer of Net City Media Group. How is that venture going and how do you balance everything?
A: I am proud of what NCMG has the potential of becoming. There is still much we have yet to develop and share. We have great partners and friends - like FedHealth and NAIStv - but so much has yet to be officially defined as far as our mission.
One thing I can say is that I intend to create a larger network of media partners - all independent, yet working in collaboration - who will be part of a greater media co-op that all gain from one another’s participation.
My vision is to make it similar to a profit-sharing network, each earning from a collaborative success. The one thing I’ve learned on the internet is that it’s next to impossible to truly make it big by yourself. It’s not like the “old days” of McDonald’s, Starbucks, and other store-front billionaires. The economy is becoming virtual-based, and people are slowly becoming more internet-oriented in their shopping and media. I’ve watched too many traditional news corps go under or end up on the auction block in the last decade to put any stock in the future of paper-based news sources.
I’m confident the right people will see us as a potential asset and want to be a part of it’s growth and strength.

Q: So much has been written about you and your husband (W. Edward Griffith). So much of what has been written has since been exposed as a public relations campaign to smear you and your businesses. How do you handle the lies and has any of this damaged your marriage or your business ventures?
A: No. We made a pact a long time ago that, no matter what, we belong to one another. Yes, we experimented a lot with reaching out to others in our lives, but it’s hard to build the kind of loyalty with others that exists in our marriage. Everyone seemed to have divergent agendas that are in conflict with what we’ve built. In the end, we discovered that we only really had each other to rely upon, and protecting our children became our focus more than anything.

Q: You’re Jewish. Does your faith play a role in your life as a private spy?
A: Well, I’m Jewish by heritage. My true faith is in Yeshua, but with a healthy respect for observing the traditions of my Jewish roots. I’m not puritanical by an means, but do my best to perceive my life through the lens of living in a very imperfect world. Maybe it seems overly-pragmatic, but I’m not exactly a living the life of a nun.

Alysyn and her family (above)
Q: How would you describe your marriage? You work together as partners in life and in business. Does this ever come into conflict?
A: We actually get along really well, despite being around each other twenty-four seven. Most couples would drive each other crazy, but so much of what we both do is intertwined that we have learned - through trial and error, I might add - to make it work. In essence, we’ve had to fast-track to the point that many take decades to get to in their marriages.
Any conflict we’ve had has only occurred because we both tend to be very intense personalities by nature. Mostly, we get along really well, and enjoy sharing ideas and expounding upon them using our differing talents and perspectives.
Of course, between brainstorming sessions, we kiss a lot, which is a great stress-reliever.
Q: You gave a 2010 radio interview on KKIM AM/FM Christian Radio and talked about the war on terror. You also stated your belief that Osama bin Laden was not yet dead, which proved to be correct. How did you receive the news of his death and the recent killing of Anwar al-Awlaki?
A: Truthfully, with great sadness over the fact that our world is in such turmoil, and that my kids have to grow up knowing that men like this are, every day, threatening their opportunity to grow and thrive in peace. I take no pleasure in death, just in the absence of the threat to life.
Q: What did you think of Ron Paul’s statement that the United States should not be participating in assassinations?
A: I think it’s a preposterous perspective, that he considers al-Awlaki’s American citizenship an over-shadowing factor to his anti-American activities. As an American citizen who incited terrorism against the U.S., al-Awlaki was nothing more than a traitor to his country.

Q: A rabbi said last year that the use of the ‘honey trap’ in gathering intelligence was “kosher”. How do you feel about the use of sex in intelligence gathering?
A: I, personally, don’t see it as much different than how our soldiers put their physical safety on the line in defense of our freedom. They see their lives as forfeit for the greater good. The same attitude is at play when men and women use their bodies and put their lives in harms way to gather intel that we need to help our various agencies do their job in protecting us.
There is also a parable that Yeshua told of an accountant who used foresight in the handling of his employer’s debts. Though he was fired for over-charging clients, he took it upon himself to go to each of his former employers accounts and lower their debts based on the amount he had overcharged, thereby making his former employer look good in their eyes, and saving himself face and ensuring future employment.

From the time they met, the couple have been partners in everything (above)
While this seems unusual, he was actually praised by Yeshua for his cunning and his foresight in how he handled a difficult situation, despite his wrong-doing. It was accounted to him as using his intellect to protect both himself and the reputation of his former employer.
All this to point out that our “honey traps” typically see the bigger picture of how this world works, and the deeper aspects of the threats that surround us. Human nature is based in sexual appetite, and, knowing this, sometimes the best weapon against our enemies is using their own vulnerabilities against them.

Q: What are your plans for your media venture this year?
A: One idea I can’t share openly right now. We’ve done that before, only to discover a few months later that someone capitalized on it, and this concept is too great for me to let go so easily. Of course, if someone wants to assist with basic funding, I’d be open to partnering and sharing the profits I’m absolutely sure it would generate.
Otherwise, I’m working with our local residents, businesses and government leaders to further develop an online media asset, The Louisa Chronicle, that will benefit the community.
We’ve made great strides in creating something that they can be proud of, and have big plans for it. We’ve discovered some really good people here who want to do great things, and I am proud to be a part of the process.
I’m also working on building a team that will focus on making Net City Media Group a more viable asset, and develop many of the platforms that will draw the internet media resources that will expand upon what we’ve built.

A wife and her husband (above)
Q: What do you and your husband do to relax?
A: We’re both huge bibliophiles, and would rather sit with a good book than anything else, with the exception of spending time together as a family.
We’re both history buffs, and like watching biographies and documentaries, as well as movies about historical persons and events.
We also try to take as much time as we can enjoying movies with our kids, who are both fans of all genres.

Q: Do you or your husband have any plans to run for public office and is it something you’ve thought about at all?
A: I’m not really considering running for anything. The idea isn’t as attractive to me as it is to my husband. I’d keep an eye on our son, though. He has great things to do someday.

ALYSYN BOURQUE (above)
Q: Who are you supporting in the 2012 presidential election?
A: This next Presidential election, I think, is crucial. As a country, we’ve made great strides in electing an African-American person into our highest office, but I think the point that Dr. Martin Luther King made to the American people has become more clear in making that choice - it’s not the color of a man’s skin, but the quality of his character that is most important.
I voted for Mitt Romney to be the GOP candidate in the last election, but we ended up with Senator McCain. Right now Mitt Romney is still a good choice, yet I am highly impressed with Herman Cain. He’s not one of those who is considered “groomed” for the Presidency, but our Constitution doesn’t really make that a condition of leadership. What he does have is integrity, intelligence, and is savvy in business, which are attractive qualities in a leader. I would be proud to call him Mr. President some day.
Q: Thank you for your time. It was a pleasure to chat with you.
A: The pleasure was mine, thank you.

Fresh allegations in Berlusconi sex scandal
FROM CAPITOL HILL NEWS STAFF
ROME - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi may have told a businessman to lie to investigators about paying callgirls to attend parties he hosted, the Ansa news agency said Tuesday.
The businessman, Gianpaolo Tarantini, is on trial accused of having spent nearly 30,000 euros ($41,000) on recruiting dozens of women for Berlusconi’s private parties in 2008 and 2009 in order to win lucrative contracts.
Quoting a decision by a Naples court, Ansa said Berlusconi could be questioned about claims that he asked Tarantini to make false declarations in the callgirl probe.
This could lead to a full investigation against the prime minister, the agency said.
The trial of Tarantini and eight others in Bari, southern Italy, has not directly implicated Berlusconi in anything illegal. The renting of prostitutes is not illegal in Italy and Berlusconi has so far only been a witness the case.
The 74-year-old premier already faces a string of legal cases, including one in which he is accused of having paid for sex with a nightclub dancer Karima El Mahroug, nicknamed ‘Ruby the Heart Stealer’, when she was a minor.
He is also accused of having abused his power to spring her from police custody when she was arrested on suspicion of theft.
The next hearing in that case is set for October 3.
Tarantini has been in custody since September 1 accused of extorting 850,000 euros ($1.2 million) from Berlusconi to lie to prosecutors about the parties.
The court in that case this month asked to hear from Berlusconi as the ‘victim’ in the alleged blackmail case.
But the billionaire tycoon has said he gave the money as a gift to help a friend in need, and has refused to appear before the Naples judges.

Private security chief defends John Hagee, Hits Hard on Soros Agenda
BY LAURA COHEN, Editor
VIRGINIA — A ‘Messianic Jew’ who runs a private intelligence agency defended John Hagee late last night, in an interview with CAPITOL HILL NEWS.
W. Edward Griffith, who has gone on the offensive against ‘the liberal media establishment’ and bloggers like Richard Bartholomew, said the recent attacks on Hagee “reflect the agenda I recently outlined in a televised address”.
Griffith, 44, said ‘faith and security” go together, and added that the two go hand-in-hand when raising a family.
According to Bartholomew: 2006: At USA Today, Mark I Pinsky explains how John Hagee is a central figure in a new alliance between “Southern Jews and Evangelicals”:
…[I]n November 2005, more than 1,000 evangelicals from central Florida gathered at a local hotel and raised more than $100,000 to buy an ambulance for Magen David Adom, Israel’s Red Cross. Local rabbis delivered both the invocation and the benediction. As event sponsors promised, there was no effort to proselytize any of the estimated 200 Jewish guests. The Rev. John Hagee of San Antonio gave a thunderous keynote address supporting the Jewish state that he could easily have delivered at a rally for Israel’s hard-line Likud Party.
2011: At USA Today, Mark I Pinsky explains how John Hagee is an absolutely marginal figure in Evangelicalism, a bogeyman puffed up by liberal websites but in truth so irrelevant that we don’t even have to spell his name correctly:
These days, it’s hard to turn to liberal websites, public radio or MSNBC without encountering some “investigation” or “expos” of a splinter, marginal figure, such as David Barton or John Haggee, from the evangelical world - followed by some tenuous if not tortured connect-the-dots link to a presidential or congressional candidate.
As readers may recall, Hagee’s link to John McCain in 2008 was so “tenuous” that McCain was obliged to issue a repudiation of Hagee’s endorsement after a sermon came to light in which Hagee referred to Hitler as a “hunter” sent by God to persuade Jews to move to Israel. That sermon was unearthed not by a professional religion writer such as Pinsky, but by an independent amateur researcher named Bruce Wilson.”…
Bartholomew went on to attack Glenn Beck and David Barton.
Says Griffith: “What we have here is an agenda. Mr. Bartholomew believes in nothing but tearing people down who have faith and core values. This comes from a blogger in the United Kingdom, who clearly has no interest in keeping the United States safe and secure’.
Griffith has addressed Bartholomew, linking him to the agenda of George Soros. A rebroadcast of Griffith’s public address can be heard here.

Hundreds Arrested After Wall Street Protest
A large group of protesters affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement attempt to cross the Brooklyn Bridge, effectively shutting parts of it down, Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 in New York.
New York City police say about 700 protesters have been arrested after they swarmed the Brooklyn Bridge and shut down a lane of traffic for several hours.
The group Occupy Wall Street has been camped out in a plaza in Manhattan’s Financial District for nearly two weeks staging various marches, and had orchestrated an impromptu trek to Brooklyn on Saturday evening. They walked in thick rows on the sidewalk up to the bridge, where some demonstrators spilled onto the roadway after being told to stay on the pedestrian pathway, police said. Most of those arrested face disorderly conduct charges, while others were accused of resisting arrest.
Some protesters sat on the roadway, while others chanted and yelled at the police from the pedestrian walkaway above. Police used orange netting to stop the group on the roadway from going further down the bridge, which is under construction.
Some of the protesters said they were lured onto the roadway by police, or they didn’t hear the calls from authorities to head to the pedestrian walkway. Police said no one was tricked into being arrested, and those who were in the back of the group were allowed to leave.
